Donovan Bixley shows a family expecting a new baby, then the arrival and changes at home, with the older sibling dealing with changes in attention level and expectations leading through to the joy of another family member to play with. As with all of Donovan’s books, it is bright and colourful, hopeful, full of funny moments and the perfect way to get a child ready to accept a new small person into the whanau.
